My boy would prefer to take Interstate 87 instead of the Taconic, because it's a more major road and he's concerned about winter weather conditions.
Has anyone else taken I87 instead of Taconic, from NYC, and can recommend it? I remember it making the trip longer and more expensive (tolls and gas.) But then again, I remember the Taconic can be a challenging drive.
I'd love suggestions on the best way to get from NYC to Lanesboro. Thanks!
